IWRC provides evidence-based education and resources on wildlife rehabilitation to move the field of wildlife rehabilitation forward; to promote wildlife conservation and welfare; and to mitigate human-wildlife conflicts worldwide, through better understanding of wild animal ecology, behavior, and welfare. IWRC provides wildlife rehabilitators access to reliable, science-based and up-to-date information and shares resources between conservation biologists, veterinarians, and rehabilitators to help improve the quality of care provided to injured wild animals. Since the organization was created, IWRC has supported over 20,000 wildlife rehabilitators with training and resources.
