Donkey Sanctuary and Educational facility. We are currently home to 22 donkeys. Their backgrounds vary from abuse, neglect or owner-surrenders.We offer educational, hands-on experiences for children and adults and information for donkey owners or potential owners. We are committed to improving the welfare of animals by addressing the
extensive overpopulation problem among homeless dogs and cats.
We accomplish this mission by:
Saving as many dogs as possible from overcrowded shelters;
Accepting surrendered and abandoned dogs and cats;
Spaying or neutering every animal in our care;
Working with our community to Trap-Neuter-Release stray/colony cats
and providing rescue and care to injured and sick kittens and cats from
colonies;
And through adoption, finding forever loving homes for all our animals
To foster an environment of respect, responsibility and compassion for all animals through education, legislation and leadership; to take care of the homeless, defend the abused, and to fight with unrelenting diligence for the recognition of the integrity of all animals.
